The publishing house  Sikorski-Verlag publishes the partitur of the 8th  Simphony by Awet Terterjan in print and honors the composer with an article at the website www.sikorski.de

Terterian Special at WDR in honor of the composers' 80th birthday

A short information about an upcoming event in July 2009:

Avet Terterian's 80th birthday in July 2009 will be honored by WDR (WestDeutscher Rundfunk) in Köln with a special radio program, containing the composer's chamber music, texts, lectures and information.
Some music pieces will be especially performed and recorded for this event.

A real pleasure. As soon as we know the exact program and the date of the broadcasting, we will inform here.
 
Stringquartett #2 at Maerzmusik 2009

The StringQuartett #2 will be performed in Berlin, March 22, 2009 at Jüdisches Museum / Glashof.

The concert will be part of the renowned festival MaerzMusik 2009.

The Kairos Quartett will perform the quartett.

December 1, 2008, the Premiere of the opera Das Beben will take place at the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre in Yerevan!

For the first time the opera Das Beben will be performed in the homecountry of the composer, at the Armenia National Opera and Ballet in Yerevan, Armenia !

Rehearsals startet at the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre September 1, 2008 and the premiere  will take placein the period betwen October 18, 2008 and October 28.

The exact date is not set now.
