The renowned Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz München announces the WorldPremiere of the Opera in two parts Das Beben The Premiere will take place March 16, 2003 in Munich. Libretto by Awet Terterian and Gerta Stecher After the novel Das Erdbeben von Chili by Heinrich von Kleist Musical Director: Ekkehard Klemm Director: Claus Guth Stagedesign and Costume: Christian Schmidt Ekkehard Klemm knows the music of Terterian for many years. Claus Guth is known for his opera work: Schwarzerde by Klaus Huber, Pnima ... ins Innere by Chaya Czernowin or Blauwalddorf by Helmut Oehring. We are proud and happy.
