20.08.2015: Young Euro Classic: News from the East

Live from the Konzerthaus Berlin at Gendarmenmarkt  Deutschland Radio Kultur transmits a concert of the  I,Culture Orchestra in the frame of the Young Euro Classics from 08:03 pm to 10:00 pm.

Members of the I,Culture Orchestra come from Ukraina / Poland / Moldawia / Georgia / Belarus / Azerbaidjan and Armenia.

The program: works by Avet Terterian, Sergej Rachmaninow and Leoš Janáček.

Terterian’s 3rd Symphony will be performed.

Birthday-Concert in Leipzig

December 13, 2014 an Armenian-Russian Concert took place at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig in memory of Awet Terterian.

In honor of his 85th birthday, works by Awet Terterian, Schostakowitsch, Prokofiev, Chatschaturian and Babadschanjan were performed.

Klaus Schulz died April 26, at the age of 66.

Schulz, artistic director and dramatic advisor, artistic director at the Theater am Gärtnerplatz München, realized the premiere of Terterian’s opera “Das Beben”.

 His impact on New and Contemporary Composed Music will not be forgotten.
