In July 1999, the Dresdner Sinfoniker performed the 3rd Symphony the first time. They also released a CD.
Now they are courageous again for a real surprising concert program: El Dorado.
John Adams’s Composition “El Dorado” combined with Terterian’s 3rd Symphony and a composition of Linda Buckley, “Turn” which is performed at two places simultaneously, in Venice and in Hellerau.
It is difficult to describe this ambitious and interesting project, it is better to study the program (attached as pdf) and, most of all, attend the concert.
