“Das Beben” in Yerevan

For the first time the opera Das Beben will be performed in the homecountry of the composer, at the Armenia National Opera and Ballet in Yerevan, Armenia!

Rehearsals startet at the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre September 1, 2008 and the premiere will take placein the period betwen October 18, 2008 and October 28.

The exact date is not set now.

07/20/2007 and 07/21/2007 DAS BEBEN in Munich

The Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich presents the best productions of the time of the intendancy of Klaus Schulz.

Thus the Opera DAS BEBEN will be performed for the last two times.

Irina Tigranova, the widow of Awet Terteryan, will be present at these performances as well as Irenka Terteryan, the granddaughter of the composer.

The renowned Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz München announces the WorldPremiere of the Opera in two parts Das Beben

The Premiere will take place March 16, 2003 in Munich.

Ekkehard Klemm knows the music of Terterian for many years.

Due to his persistence, this opera finally will be staged.

Claus Guth is known for his opera work: Schwarzerde by Klaus Huber, Pnima … ins Innere by Chaya Czernowin or Blauwalddorf by Helmut Oehring.

March 16: the 5th Symphonie in Berlin and the opera “Das Beben” in Munich

March 16 will be a great day:

The Festival MaerzMusik presents the 5th Symphony by Avet Terterian, performed by Rundfunk-Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Berliner Konzerthaus, 7pm
